Eligibility Criteria for Recruitment in RRB
Educational Qualification
- Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant: Degree in Metallurgy/ Chemical Engineering from recognised Institution approved by AICTE or MSc Degree in Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry from recognised University
- Junior Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate from recognised University
- Metallurgical Supervisor Gr.II (Research): Degree or its equivalent in Metallurgical Engineering from a recognised Institution approved by AICTE. Knowledge of any computer language will be essential
- Scientific Supervisor (Ergonomics/ Training): IInd class Master Degree in Psychology or Physiology and two years experience in administration of Psychological Test
- Scientific Assistant Gr.I (Training): IInd class Master Degree in Psychology and one year experience in administration of psychological test
- Scientific Supervisor (Psycho): IInd class Master Degree in Psychology and two years experience in administration of psychological test of mental abilities and personality
- Chemical Supervisor Gr.II (Research): Degree or its equivalent in Chemical Technology from a recognised Institution approved by AICTE
- Artist (Psycho): Bachelor Degree with either Psychology or Statistics as one of the subjects and one year experience in Multi-Media Application and Desk Top Publishing
- Lab Assistant III (Mechanical): Matriculation with Science from recognised board and Diploma in Medical Lab Technology. DMLT or 10+2 with Science from a recognised Educational Board

Selection Procedure for Recruitment in RRB: The candidates will be selected on the basis of Single Stage Written Examination followed by verification of Documents required.

The candidates can apply either through prescribed application form or through online mode by accessing the official website http://rrcb.gov.in/rrbs.html# The print out of the application form should be send along with application fee and required documents to Assistant Secretary/ Secretary/ Member Secretary/ Chairman of respective RRB as per the candidates choice
Application Fee: Rs 60 (for posts 1-7) and Rs 40 (for posts 8-9) for the General and OBC candidates only in the form of IPO / DD in favour of Assistant Secretary/ Secretary/ Member Secretary/ Chairman of respective RRB as per the candidates choice
Note: No examination fees is required for SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ Physically Handicapped/ Women/ Minorities/ Economically backward classes candidates having annual family income less than Rs 50000
