Eligibility Criteria for Senior Scientific Officer & Other Posts
Educational Qualification:
- Senior Scientific Officer: (a) M.Sc. IInd division in the relevant discipline from a University established by Law in India. (b) Two year's experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a state or central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.
- Senior Chemist: Post graduate degree in Chemistry or Degree in Chemical Engineering from a University established by Law in India or qualifications declared equivalent thereto by Govt. 5 years' experience in analysis of Rocks and Minerals.
- Chemist: Post graduate degree in Chemistry from a University established by Law or Institute recognised as equivalent by Government
- Geo-Scientist: Post graduate degree in Geology or Applied Geology from a University established by Law in India. Or Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology Dhanbad or a qualification declared equivalent by the Govt.
- Inspector Factory & Boilers: (a) A degree in Machanical or Production or Power Plant or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent; and (b) Two Years experience as a technical personnel in the design, construction, erection, operation, testing, repair, maintenance or inspection of boilers or in the implementation of the Boilers Act, 1923 and rules and regulations framed there under.
- Assistant Director: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Chemical Engineering of a University established by law in India or qualifications recognized as equivalent thereto by the Government. Diploma in Industrial Safety given by Central Labour Institute, Bombay or recognized equivalent by the Government and Two Years' Practical experience in handling various aspects of Industrial Safety in Technical Institute or repute
- Inspector Factories: B.E. (Chemical) of a University established by law in India or qualifications declared equivalent thereto by the Govt.
- Agricultural Research Officer: IInd Class M.Sc. (Agri) with Horticulture of a University established by Law in India
- Statistics officer: IInd Class Post Graduate degree in Maths with Statistics or IInd Classs M.Sc. (Agri) with special subject in Statistics or M.Sc. in Statistics of a University established by law in India.
- Occupational Therapist: Secondary or its equivalent with Diploma in Occupational Therapy from an Institution recognized by Government
- Town Planning Assistant: Intermediate in Architecture or Diploma in Architectural Assistantship (3 years’ course) from a recognised Institution with 2 years’ experience as Draftsman in Town Planning/Architect’s Office. OR Polytechnic Diploma in Civil Draftsmanship with 3 years’ experience as Draftsman in Town Planning/ Architect’s Office. OR Draftsman Certificate (Civil) from National Council of Vocational Trade with 5 years’ experience as Draftsman in Town Planning/ Architect’s Office.
