Candidates have been waiting for the RRB NTPC Result 2016 since the day of the completion of the examination. RRB NTPC Result 2016 (CEN 03/2015) is under scrutiny process and can be expected anytime soon. Soon after declaring the RRB NTPC Result, the Board will begin the next phase of selection procedure. Therefore it is wise to be aware of the next phase of selection process. Here are few important information relevant for prospective qualifiers.

Candidates, who are awaiting the RRB NTPC Result 2016, must gear up their preparation for the next selection level as well. Since the examination is held for recruitment to 18000+ posts, it is obvious that the Board will select large number of candidates for the next selection phase. So, if you are one of the RRB NTPC examinees and have a chance to be selected in the first selection phase, you ought to know about the next selection process!

Immediately after the declaration of the RRB NTPC result 2016, the Board will conduct other selection measures for recruitment to 18252 NTPC posts. The Board will gear up its preparation for conducting the skill tests, aptitude tests and document verification. It is most likely that the Board will schedule the examinations in different phases and will intimate the respective candidates simultaneously.

The entire process of scrutinizing the candidates for the non technical posts in RRB (exam, skill test, aptitude test and document verification) will be done by the individual RRBs.) For the non-technical posts the merit list will be based on the marks obtained in the CBT (Computer based test) and document verification. However for Junior Accounts Assistant, Senior Clerk and Senior Time Keeper the Railway Recruitment Board will conduct typing skill test. Aptitude test will be held for Assistant Station Master and Traffic Assistant posts.

In the typing test, candidates should be able to type at least 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi. For typing skill test the number of candidates will be eight times the vacancy available. For Aptitude test, the number of candidates shortlisted will also be eight times the vacancy; more details can be found here.

Typing skill test is of qualifying nature and the merit list drawn will have the marks of CBT only. Whereas in aptitude test accounts for 30% of the weightage in merit list. The rest 70% will be based on CBT.

The last procedure is document verification, in which candidates are required to product their original certificates before the Board. Around 50% of the candidates are empanelled and are sought in case of shortage.

High cut off expected for RRB NTPC Result 2016!

Candidates are ought to expect a high cut off in RRB NTPC Result 2016. Secondly, the question paper didn’t have any specific sections and the entire question paper was rather a random set. Therefore examinees would have got the time and option for going back and forth the question paper as per their convenience and knowledge. Again reasoning and arithmetic questions required basic level knowledge unlike IBPS or SSC exams, thus making it easier to attempt.

In a nutshell, the RRB NTPC exam 2016 was of moderate difficulty level. Hence high cut off is expected in the general category (70-80 marks). For other reserved categories also the cut off will be slight higher than the usual trend. However, OBC category will have the same (near about) cut off as the general category.
