Eligibility Criteria for Scientists, Director, Research Asst & Other Posts

Educational Qualification:

• Director- Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Botany/ Pharmaceutical Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent. OR M.D. (Ay.) in Rasashastra/ Bhaishajya Kalpana/ Dravyaguna or M.D. (Unani) or M.D. (Siddha) from a recognized university under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) and Enrolment on the Central/State Register of Indian Medicine; Doctorate degree in relevant subject; 20 years experience is required.
• Principal Scientific Officer (Ayurveda)-M.D. in Rasashastra or Bhaishajya Kalpana or Dravyaguna Recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) and Enrolment on the Central/ State Register of Indian Medicine; 10 years of experience in the concerned subject.
• Scientific Officer (Unani)-Post Graduate Degree in Unani from a recognized University under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970(48 of 1970) and Enrolment on the Central/ State Register of Indian Medicine; 02 years of experience in relevant field.
• Research Officer (Microbiology)-Master’s degree in Microbiology from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Research Assistant (Museum & Herbarium)-Bachelor’s Degree in Botany from a recognized University or equivalent; Candidate should have 02 years of experience in concerned subject.
• Administrative Officer-Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent; 10 years of experience required..
• Scientific Officer (Inorganic Chemistry)-Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent; 05 years experience required.
• Personal Secretary to Director- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. One year diploma in computer application from a recognized institute; Shorthand speed of 100 wpm; 05 years experience of working in recognized Scientific/ Research Organization as Stenographer/ Personal assistant.
• Store Officer-Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent; P.G. Diploma in materials management from a recognized University or equivalent; 05 years experience in a recognized scientific laboratory.
• Assistant-Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. 05 years experience as UDC or equivalent in recognized Scientific/ Research organization/ Govt. Department, PSU, University or Autonomous Bodies etc.

Age Limit – 35 years-56 years (Age relaxation or reserved category candidates as per govt. rules)
