The amount of the solute present in the given amount of the solvent is called concentration of solution. The difference amount of the solute may be dissolved in the same kind of solution and therefore it is almost important to express the concentration of a given solution. The mass of the solute in grams present in 100 grams of the solution. If the solute and solvent are both present in same physical state then it is called percent by volume. Strength is the mass of the solute in gram present in one litter of solution
