South Indian Bank Recruitment of Probationary Officers 2011

The South Indian Bank Ltd. invites applications from Indian nationals having one year of work experience in Scheduled Commercial Banks in the Scale 1/ officer cadre for filling up vacancies of Probationary Officers (Scale I).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University (10+2+3) regular stream with at least 60% for qualifying degree in Science stream or 55% for other streams.

Work Experience (as on 30 September 2011): The candidates should have mandatory minimum work experience of 1 year in scheduled commercial banks in the Scale I/ Officer Cadre.

Age Limit (as on 31 August 2011): Minimum 21 years and Maximum 28 years

Pay Scale: Rs 14,500 - 600/7 - 18700 - 700/2 - 20100 - 800/7 - 25,700 plus other benefits. Performance linked Incentive: Maximum Rs 70,000 per annum, as per scheme in vogue.

Probation Period: The candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
