SSC CGL2018 Notification to be Released on 05 May: Details Here

SSC CGL 2018 Notification is going to be released on 5 May 2018. Earlier, the notification was expected to be released on 21 April 2018 but has been postponed as commission is yet to conduct CGL 2017 Tier-III examination. The commission has confirmed the news on its official website. Initially, the Tier-III exam was supposed to be held on March 31, is now postponed to May 2018.

SSC CGL 2018 Notification is going to be released on 5 May 2018. Staff Selection Commission is a leading government organisation to recruit staff for various posts in Subordinate Offices. Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam is conducted annually by SSC to recruit candidates to Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Assistant/ Superintendent, Inspector of Income Tax, Central Excise Inspector, Preventive Officer, Junior Statistical Officer, Assistant Enforcement Officer, etc.

The Supreme Court on Friday directed the Centre to consider the representation of students challenging the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examination through private vendors and pass a reasoned order in six weeks.

Staff Selection Commission is one of the leading government organisations for recruitment to subordinate posts. Every year, lakhs of students apply for the posts. Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam is conducted annually to recruit candidates to Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Assistant/ Superintendent, Inspector of Income Tax, Central Excise Inspector, Preventive Officer, Junior Statistical Officer, Assistant Enforcement Officer, etc.

The exam is conducted in four-Tier: Tier I and Tier II are computer based exams while tier III and IV are descriptive type exam and a computer proficiency test or skill test. There is no interview.
