Staff Selection Commission will declare the result of SSC CGL Tier I Examination 2017 on 31 October 2017. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can easily check the result by visiting the official site of SSC on the mentioned date.
As per the notice issued by the Commission, the answer key will be released on 18 September.
The SSC CGL Tier I Examination was conducted from 05 August to 23 August 2017 and a total of 15,43, 962 candidates appeared for the examination. As per the commission, the examination was conducted in 43 batches across the nation.
Candidates who will qualify the Tier I examination will be eligible to appear for Tier II examination. On the basis of performance in both the examinations, a candidate will qualify the SSC CGL Examination 2017. Qualifying candidates will be appointed in non-technical Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ non-gazetted posts in various government departments and ministries.
SSC CGL Tier I Examination was computer based online examination that consisted of 100 questions carrying 2 marks each. The subjects included in the examination are general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude and English comprehension.
