SSC has announced a major change for a particular group of examinees who are going to appear CHSL exam 2016 on 15 January 2017. Concerned candidates are suggested to go through the official notification properly and check for all factual information before going to the examination.
As per the official update released by Staff Selection Commission North Eastern Region (SSC NER), the examination has been postponed for all candidates who were to appear for the CHSL exam 2016 at NIELIT, Churachandpur on 15 January. The examination date has now been fixed for 23 January 2017.
Citing administrative reasons, the Commission has urged candidates to download fresh admit cards for the exam from the official portal of SSC NER at sscner.org.in.
In another notification, the Commission has also postponed examination date for all the examinees whose centre is Edusurge, Imphal. The examination will now be held on 15 January 2017. Fresh admit cards, for this, as well has been released and candidates can download it from the official portal.
Staff Selection Commission has shown proactive participation by addressing the grievances and concerns of the applicants. As per the Notice of the Commission servers of the SSC were closed down for maintenance from 10 October 2016 (1200 Hours) to 13 October 2016 (1200 Hours). Closing date for receiving applications for above Examination was therefore suitably extended. However a few candidates have reported to the Commission that they were able to register themselves and complete their applications for CHSL-2016 during that maintenance window period and that they were allotted Registration IDs starting with '99' digits. Being a declared maintenance period, such applications were treated as invalid by the Computer System.
The Commission then allowed such candidates to complete and submit their applications to their respective regional offices through email ids within 09 January 2017.
