SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026: Apply Online Last Date Tomorrow for 2536 Vacancies, Check Eligibility and Other Details

SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the online application process for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2026 tomorrow October 7, 2026. Under this recruitment, a total of 2,536 vacancies will be filled across various posts, such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO) and DEO Grade ‘A’. Candidates who have not completed their application forms can submit them through the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in. To be eligible to apply candidates must have passed senior secondary from a recognised institution.

The SSC CHSL Recruitment notification was released on September 7, 2026 and the application process started on the same date. Candidates can pay the application fee up to October 8, 2026. After the registration process closes the Commission will provide an opportunity for application form correction from October 14 to October 16, 2026.

SSC CHSL Notification 2026 Highlights

SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission before applying. Check the detailed criteria below.

1. Educational Qualification-

• Candidates who will apply for SSC CHSL 2026 must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University.

• For certain DEO and DEO Grade ‘A’ posts, candidates must pass Class 12 in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject. 

2. Age Limit-(As on August 1, 2026)

• The minimum age to apply is 18 years.

• The maximum age to apply is 27 years.

• Candidates must  be born between August 2, 1999 and August 1, 2008. 

• Age relaxation is applicable to reserved categories as per central government rules.
