SSC MTS exam 2016: All OMR based papers are cancelled, check@ssc.nic.in

    SSC has cancelled all exam papers for the session of 2016 that began on April, 30.The said examination will be now be conducted fresh on computer based mode possibly in the month of September-October, 2017. The information pertaining to this has been posted  on ssc official website.

    Story behind the scene

    The news that come into picture is that the answer keys and the question paper was readily available on social media. This incidence was observed for the afternoon shift paper held on 30thApril, 2017.

    This event is reported while Neetu Singh, the Director of KD campus, uploaded the images of question paper and sought assistance from the staff selection commission and PMO.  

    Selection procedure

    The shortlisting will be done on the basis of score attained in paper-1. Paper-2 will be of qualifying nature. The score of paper-1 and qualifying criteria for paper-2 will be different for each post. Candidates for each UT/state will be finally selected on the basis of performance in paper-1 and meeting basic qualifying criteria for Paper-2.

    Pay scale

    The selected candidates will be remunerated under the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20,200 with a grade pay of Rs. 1800. This pay scale is under revision for 7thPay commission by the Government of India.
