SSC Recruitment 2017: Staff Selection Commission announced recruitment against 1102 Scientific Assistant vacancies in the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Science or IT graduate candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 04 August 2017.
SSC has issued guidelines for application process for the recruitment of fresh 1102 Scientific Assitant posts which is based on filliing online recruitment form available at the official website of ssc.nic.in.
As per the notification issued by SSC, Bachelor’s degree holders in Science (with Physics as one of the subject)/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Computer Applications OR Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution/University or equivalent are eligible to apply for Scientific Assistant jobs at IMD.
Online application process for 1102 Scientific Assistant started on 18 July and will continue to 04 August 2017 as per the process laid down in the notification.
The selection process for 1102 Scientific Assistant jobs a computer based exam which is scheduled to be held during 20 November 2017 to 27 November 2017.
The upper age limit for the posts has been decided to maximum 30 years for the candidates belonging to the General Category. While there be age relaxation for the candidates of reserved categories, e.g. OBC, SC, ST, etc. as per the Central Govt Rules applicable to age relaxations.
