State Bank of India (SBI) is all set to conduct its Clerk Exam 2018 from tomorrow. The prelims exams will be conducted on 23, 24 and 30 June 2018 across the country. Candidates who have applied for the examination will have to appear for the exam in any of the date mentioned above.
SBI will fill up 9633 posts of Clerks or Junior Associates in customer support and sales via this examination. The total number of regular vacancies is 7200 and backlog vacancies are 1101.
The Prelims examination will comprise of three sections- English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The time duration for this exam is set to 1 hour. The examination will comprise of 100 marks- 30 marks for English Language, 35 marks for Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. Candidates who will qualify the Prelims exam will have to appear for the main examination. The main examination is to be conducted on 05 August 2018. The main examination will consist of four subjects- General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The exam will be of 200 marks and time duration is set to 2 hours 40 minutes. The exam will carry negative marking for each wrong answer.
The selection of the candidate will be on the basis of performance of preliminary exam followed by main exam. The admit card of the examination are out on 06 June 2018 and the examination will be conducted across the nation in 18 states.
It is advisable for appearing candidates not to carry calculator, watch, cell phones, books, slide rulers, notebooks or any written notes inside the examination hall.
