    Station Workshop EME Agra Cantt issued notification inviting applications for Direct recruitment to 4 Group ‘C’ vacancies in the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers.Interested candidates should send their applications within 21 days of publication of the notification in Employment news, i.e. till 16 May 2014 as the notification got published in Employment News dated 26 April 2014 – 2 May 2014.

    Important Dates:
    Last Date for receipt of Applications at EME, Agra Cantt: within 21 days of publication of the notification in Employment news, i.e. till 16 May 2014 as the notification got published in Employment News dated 26 April 2014 – 2 May 2014.

    Within 28 days i.e. till 23 May 2014 for candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, ladakh division of J&K state, Lahual & Spiti districts and Pangi sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar islands and Lakshadweep.

    Vacancy Details:

    Total Vacancies: 4 posts

    1.Elect (HS-II):1 post

    Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400

    Qualifications: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with ITI certificate or equivalent in appropriate field/ trade OR B.Sc. or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as subjects.

    2.MTS (Chowkidar):1 post
    Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800

    Qualifications: Matriculation (10) or equivalent; Conversant with duties of a Chowkidar; one year experience as a Chowkidar is desirable;

    3.MTS (Safaiwala):1 post
    Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800

    Qualifications: Matriculation (10) or equivalent; Conversant with duties of a Safaiwala; one year experience as a Safaiwala is desirable;

    4.LDC:1 post

    Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900

    Qualifications: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with English typing speed of 35 words per minute/ Hindi typing speed of 30 words per minute on Computers.

    Age Limit: (as on the last date for receipt of applications)

    Minimum: 18 years

    Maximum: 25 years.

    Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written test/interview.

    Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test. Date, time and venue for the test will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates. Those qualifying the written test will be called for the Interview.

    Candidate will have to produce all original documents at the time of Interview.

    Candidates, whose documents are found to be correct will have to appear for Medical Examination in specified hospital.

    Candidates found fit in all respects will be issued letter of appointment, by post. Initially appointment will be on temporary basis.

    How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with copies of requiredcertificates/ testimonials, a self-addressed, stamped envelope to ‘the Officer Commanding, Station Workshop. EME Agra – 282 001’ so as to reach the concerned authority within the prescribed last date(s).

    On the envelope, candidates should super-scribe “Application for the post of ___________________” .

    Separate applications should be sent for each post.
