Supreme Court of India, New Delhi issued notification inviting applications for preparation of panel for appointment to the posts of Senior Personal Assistant and Personal Assistant in the Pay Band of Rs.9300- 34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4200. Interested candidates should submit/ send by post their applications to the Supreme Court so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 20 June 2014.

1. Senior Personal Assistant
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.9300- 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600
Age limit: below 28 years of age
Essential Qualifications: Graduate with proficiency in Shorthand (English) at a speed of 110 w.p.m. and knowledge of Computer Operation with typing speed of 40 w.p.m. on Computer.
2. Personal Assistant
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.9300- 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200
Age limit: below 27 years of age
Essential Qualifications: Graduate with proficiency in Shorthand (English) with a speed of 100 w.p.m. and knowledge of Computer Operation with typing speed of 40 w.p.m. on Computer.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates for the posts would be done on the basis of their performance in the objective type written test & objective type Computer Knowledge Test, followed by skill test in stenography and typing speed test on Computer --Shorthand (English) Test at the speed of 110 w.p.m. and Computer Test at the speed of 40 w.p.m. -- and Interview.
Only candidates qualifying both the objective type tests will be called for skill test in stenography and typing speed test on Computer.
The candidates who qualify in all the tests will be called for an Interview.
How to obtain Application form: Application form can be obtained from New Reception Counter of Supreme Court of India, near Gate “E”, Mathura Road Side, New Delhi on any working day from Monday to Friday between 10.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. from 19 May2014 till 20 June 2014 by producing a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs.300 (Rs.150 for SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Servicemen and Dependent of Freedom Fighter candidates).
The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘Registrar(Admn.), Supreme Court of India’, payable at New Delhi.
The Application form can also be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped (with postage stamp of Rs.70) envelope along with the application fee DD of the requisite amount.
How to apply: Interested and eligible candidates should submit their duly filled in application forms along with attested copies of required certificates/ testimonials at ‘The New Reception Counter of Supreme Court of India, near Gate “E”, Mathura Road Side, New Delhi’ on any working day from 1030 hours to 1300 hours and from 1400 hours to 1630 hours till 20 June 2014.
Applications can also be sent by Registered A/D Post to ‘The Registrar (Admn. I), Supreme Court of India, Tilak Marg, New Delhi- 110201’, in the envelope provided with the application form, so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 20 June 2014.
