Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles & Management (SVPISTM), Coimbatore invited applications for recruitment of various Faculty and Administrative staff on regular/contractual basis. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 9 June 2014. SVPISTM is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It was established in 2002, in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and is approved by AICTE.

Pay Scale

• Rs.37400-67000 +GP Rs.8700/- for post no. 1.
• Rs.37400-67000 +GP Rs.7600/- for post no. 2.
• Rs.15600-39100 +GP Rs. 6600/- for post no. 3 to 5.
• Rs.9300-34800+ GP Rs.4200/- for post no. 6.
• Rs.25000/- to 35000/- Consolidated Pay (Depends on qualification and experience) for post no. 7 & 8.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Professor: Master Degree with MBA and PhD in Textiles.
• Associate Professor: Master Degree with MBA and PhD in Textiles.
• Assistant Professor (Textiles): ME or M.Tech in Textile Technology and MBA /PGDM Specialisation in Marketing or Retailing.
• Assistant Professor (Finance): Post Graduate in Management with Finance specialisation/CA/ICWAI.
• Administrative Officer: Post Graduate in any discipline with minimum 15 years experience in General Administration, Personnel and Academics, in Govt./Semi Govt./ PSUs/Autonomous bodies/reputed private institutions/industries.
• Accountant: Post Graduate in Finance with CA/ICWAI Inter.
• Assistant Professor (Training & Placement) – Contractual appointment: Master Degree or its equivalent Grade along with good academic record.
• Assistant Professor (Admission) – Contractual appointment: Master Degree or its equivalent Grade along with good academic record.

Age limit

• Candidate age should not more than 55 years for post no. 1, 2 & 5.
• Candidate age should not more than 50 years for post no. 3, 4 & 6.
• Candidate age should not more than 45 years for post no. 7 & 8.

Application Fee

The candidates required to pay Rs.500/- (For Regular post) and Rs.300/- (For contractual post) as the application fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Director, SVPISTM, payable at Coimbatore”.

Selection Process

Selection will be done on the basis of performance in interview.
