The first University of Applied Sciences is to be established in Madhya Pradesh by Symbiosis Foundation which based in Pune, Maharasthra.
The foundation stone of this first project of Symbiosis in this state is to be laid by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The event will take place in Dada Bangdada area, near Indore on 6 June as informed by a Symbiosis Foundation Spokesperson.
This University will be the first in India dedicated to offer courses only in the field of Applied Sciences, said the spokesperson. Degree, Diplomas well Certificate courses in the fields of production, development, IT, retail and other service sectors will be on its course list.
The state government sanctioned land of 25 acre each at a concessional price, to both Narsee Monjee Educational group and Symbiosis Institute of Higher Learning. The infrastructure has commenced building and both will start to operate within next 2 years, as told by official.
