Council of Scientific & Industrial Research conducts Joint CSIR-UGC NET with University Grants Commission to determine the eligibility of Indian Nationals for the award of JRF and for the recruitment of lecturers. - Proper Schedule: Since only few days are left for the examination, candidates should prepare a proper schedule with exact time distribution for study, sleep, exercise and other daily routine jobs. Not only planning will help, the candidate should stick to that schedule for their benefit.
- Revision: Candidates should thoroughly revise the basics followed by chapters in their opted subject’s syllabus to gain precise understanding of the scientific concepts. Start with sections in which you are more comfortable to gain confidence.
- Be Selective: As there are few days to go for exam, the candidates must be very selective in preparing the topics. He/ she must prefer those chapters which are important from examination point of view and can easily be covered completely within the time span left for the examination.
- Practice Model Test Paper: After you are done with the revision of the paper, you are required to solve model exam papers based on the aptitude test. This will also give you an idea about the type of questions that will be set in the exam papers by the examiner and henceforth manage time accordingly. Moreover, solve mock test papers comprising of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to improve your speed. Candidates must prepare and solve the sample papers and arrive at result of those papers keeping in mind the fact that there is a provision of negative marking too in the examination.
- Healthy Diet and Rest: Sleep for at least 6 hours before exam to improve your concentration & recollecting power. Have proper and healthy diet which includes fruits, green vegetables and milk that gives you energy. Have a glass of water before you go to bed to keep your brain cells charged.
