TNEA 2014 Rank List Announced

TNEA 2014 Rank List Announced:
TNEA 2014 Rank List has been announced on June 16, 2014 for all the candidates aspiring for the admissions in the engineering colleges of Tamilnadu. The TNEA 2014 Rank List is prepared by considering the marks of class 12th in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry after normalization.

About TNEA:
Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) is the process through which engineering aspirants get themselves enrolled into engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu through single window counselling. The Government of Tamil Nadu entrusted Anna University to conduct Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions. Anna University designed, developed, and adopted TNEA Single Window Counselling process. Around 2.12 lakh applications have been sold by Anna University out of which 1,73,687 filled in applications were received. Total male applicants are 1,07,048 and female applicants are 66,639 females including the academic and vocational streams.

Sports Quota: 4,852 applicants (3,450 male; 1,402 female)
Differently abled: 488 applicants (349 male; 139 female)
Wards of ex-servicemen: 2,518 applicants (1,491 male; 1,027 female)
Tuition Fee Waiver eligible candidates are around 92,731 students (59,427 male; 33,304 female)
