    The credibility of a government college is usually better than any other. However, the same credibility increases the competition to get through them. The seats in these colleges are limited, with the other downside being the ever slow administration. The tuition fee and other expenses are less in these instructions but the infrastructure et al are usually below par.

    We had earlier discussed the best government universities in one of our articles. Today we will look at the private institutions which have become students' aspiration over the years.

    Amity University

    Founded in 1995, Amity University is undoubtedly one of the best universities in India.     Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS)

    Birla Institute of Technology & Science is an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. The university has 15 academic departments, and focuses primarily on undergraduate education in engineering and the sciences and on its management programme. It is widely known as the best private engineering institute and stands among the top Engineering and B-schools of India. The institute was established in its present form in 1964. During this period, the institute's transformation from a regional engineering college to a national university was backed by G.D. Birla.

    SRM University

    Symbiosis International University (SIU)

    Symbiosis International University is a private coeducational, multi-institutional university located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. It has been given official recognition by the UGC and the AICTE. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has conferred an 'A' grade to the university. SIU is part of the Symbiosis Society, which is its managing body. The society was established in 1971 by S. B. Mujumdar. It was given autonomous status in 2002 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development.
