Two-day Art Festival is to be held on IIT-Madras Campus

    A two-day art festival is going to be held at the IIT-Madras campus by institute’s Fine Arts Club on 26 and 27 October 2013.

    At the core of the festival lies an interactive session by eminent painter Bose Krishnamachari, on topic “Everything could be art, everyone could be an artist”. The talk and interaction is scheduled to be held at the central library hall at 2 PM on Sunday.

    Among the other highlights of the festival is a session to be addressed by Visual artist and photographer Vimal Chandran on interactive graffiti projects. Titled as 'Unleash', this session will be held at the student facilities on Saturday morning.

    Another very productive session by artist and sculptor Jacob Jebaraj is scheduled to be holding on Saturday afternoon. He will conduct this a session on how to make art from junk items.

    Apart from these productive sessions, there will be organized an exhibition of paintings and photographs of India’s eminent artists.
