With an aim of enriching the current learning centers, University Grants Commission (UGC) invited research proposals for the Indo-US 21st Century Knowledge Initiative. The joint initiative of Indo-US Government, Century Knowledge Initiative (OSI) has a mission of building education allies between US institutions and Higher Learning Centers of India.
The initiative has an endeavor of strengthening and enriching the junior faculty at Indian Institutions of Higher Learning. The partnership has a better prospect for the overall development of the higher learning sector of the nation, consequently.
In response to this initiative UGC has sought research proposals from Indian Institutions recognized u/s 2(f) and 12B of UGC Act, 1956 and Institutions of National Importance to submit relevant insights in terms of proposals to support the mutuality and encourage the subsequent development that is clearly inevitable from this cooperation.
UGC has further directed the institutions to adhere to all the guidelines outlined in the Request for Proposals and the Proposal Submission Instructions.
