University Grant Commission on 20 December 2012 released specimen copy of OMR Sheets of Paper I & II (together) and Paper III separately for the examination that will be conducted at 77 coordinating centres on 30 December 2012. Candidates should go through the specimen copy and read the instructions to avoid predictable mistakes while filling the OMR sheets in the examination hall. jagranjosh.com has enlisted certain instructions mentioned below for the candidates
- Candidates must fill all the necessary columns like Name (in Capital letters), Roll No., Subject and signature
- Candidates should darken the ovals completely
- Candidates must darken only one oval out of the four for the answers of each question.
- Candidates should mark the answers with utmost care as once marked, no changes are permitted on the OMR sheet.
- Candidates are advised to carefully handle the OMR sheets. Stray marks, fold, damage, use of fluid are unacceptable.
The examination will be held in objective mode with Multiple Choice Questions. Paper- I shall be of general in nature and questions will be asked on topics such as research, teaching, communication and comprehension etc. There will be 60 questions in paper – I of which candidates will have to attempt 50 questions. Paper-II and Paper- III will be subject-specific and will comprise of 50 and 75 compulsory questions respectively.
