UGC NET Exam Postponed 2024:The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a new exam date for the UGC NET June Session 2024. The exam, originally scheduled for 16 June, will now be conducted on 18 June. This decision was made in response to feedback received from the candidates. Mr. Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman of UGC, has officially announced this change on his Twitter account today. Candidates can check the official notice below:

UGC NET June Exam 2024
The Eexam will consist of two papers. Both papers will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between papers. Paper 1 will have 50 questions of 100 marks on teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate and Paper 2 will have 100 questions of 200 marks on the domain knowledge.

Candidates who have not yet submitted their application to appear in the exam are advised to do so before the last date. The deadline for submission of the application is 10 May 2024. The notice was released on 20 April.

The NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ in Indian universities and colleges. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC – NET June 2024 for 83 subjects in OMR (Pen and Paper), mode.
