Educational Qualification
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university established by law in India.
Deputy Education Officer / Staff Officer / Law Officer: Master’s degree from a recognised university.
Probation Officer: Master’s degree in Sociology, Applied Sociology, or Social Work from a recognised university.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 42 years (as of 1 July 2024)
Age Relaxation:
Uttarakhand SC/ST/OBC Candidates: 5 years
Disabled Candidates of Uttarakhand: 5 years
Dependents of Freedom Fighters of Uttarakhand: 5 years
Nationality
Must be a citizen of India.
Certain categories of Tibetan refugees and individuals of Indian origin from specified countries are also eligible, subject to eligibility certificates issued by the Government of Uttarakhand.
