UPPCS Prelims 2015: Last Minute Tips

These are the last minute important points for the candidates appearing for the UPPCS Prelims 2015.

Uttar Pradesh Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services Preliminary Examination 2015 Exam; popularly known as the UPPCS Prelims 2015 is scheduled to be conducted on 29 March 2015. The UPPCS Prelims Exam is an annual affair and after so many years this exam has become a regular feature. The candidates appearing for this exam should apprise themselves with some important points which need to be checked just before the commencement of the exam.

Following are some of the last minute preparation tips:

  • First and foremost, the candidate should download the admit card from the website of the commission
  • The candidate should enquire about the location of the examination center. The candidates can take help of Google Maps to know precisely the location of their examination center.
  • Reach the examination centre much ahead of the time to save last minute hassles and running around
  • Keep calm while attempting the question paper because keeping cool and maintaining the confident composure is a major key to answer the exam to the most advantageous outcome
  • Inspect the area around your seat for any paper or scrap. If you find any such material then report it to the invigilator
  • Thoroughly check the pages of the question booklet and raise the issue in case of any misprint or any other discrepancy
  • While answering the questions, the candidates should always keep a tab of time because time management is one of the keys to successfully complete the exam
  • The candidates should carefully fill all the required fields of the answer sheet, specially the roll number
  • The candidates should mark the answers in the answer sheet simultaneously or after every 10 to 15 minutes. This will reduce the end time hurry to mark the answers in the answer sheet.
  • The candidates should not panic if they are unable to answer continuously for 10 -20 questions because there can be a set of questions which are difficult to answer. But they alone cannot decide the final marks so don’t panic and keep calm to effectively attempt the rest of the questions.
  • Mark the answers on the question booklet also so that you can cross-check your marked answer with the answer sheet
