Essential Qualifications: See notification
Application Fee: Application fee of Rs.80 (for Gen & OBC candidates) / Rs.40 (for SC /ST candidates) has to be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India or Punjab National Bank through an E-challan, for fee deposit, available online.
Candidate can take a print-out of the E-challan in duplicate after filling in the 'Registration' format of the On-line application.
(PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee)
Selection Procedure: Final selection would be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in Interview.
Intimation for interview will be sent later on. Candidates will have to bring their original certificates for verification, at the time of Interview.
In case of large number of applicants for the post / posts, the Commission may hold a screening test, which will be communicated in due course of time.
How to Apply: Interested candidates can apply online through the Commission's website http://uppsc.up.nic.in till 29 January 2013, after which the web-link will be disabled.
Online Application form is divided into two sections: ”Candidate Registration” and “Submit Application Form” while Submission of form / applying online involves three stages:
First Stage: Candidates should get themselves registered online by providing all the information asked under 'Candidate's Registration'. Thereafter, they should take a printout of the Registration slip and an E-Challan print out of the State Bank of India or Punjab National Bank. Candidates should retain the printout of the registration slip with 11 digit registration number for future reference.
Second Stage: Candidates should deposit the requisite application fee in the any branch of the selected Bank using the E-Challan and receive a copy of the same with Transaction ID / Journal No. and date of depositing fee mentioned on it, from the Bank.
Third Stage: Two days after depositing the fee in the Bank, candidates should re-login and fill in the remaining information in the on-line application form and submit the Application Form. Candidates are required to fill in the Payment Details while filling up Part-II of the Online Application form.
On successful submission of the online application form, candidates should take its print-out and retain it for future use. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate will be required to submit the print-out to the office of the Commission otherwise the request of the candidate shall not be entertained.
On clicking:
“View Application status”, Candidates can check their current status;
“Result”, candidate can see result status of periodically;
“Interview/Exam Schedule”, candidate can see Interview and examination schedule details periodically.
“Admit Card/Hall Ticket”, candidate can download their Admit Card.
“Syllabus”, candidate can view syllabus of particular examination.
NOTE:
Age will be reckoned as on 1 July 2012. Maximum age-limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC, ST, OBC and dependants of the freedom fighters of U.P candidates and by 15 years for PH persons, if the post is reserved.
If a candidate wants to correct / change the information provided in the submitted applications, they should submit another fresh complete application with desired corrections along with prescribed fee within the last notified dates of the advertisement. The application fee deposited with the prior application will neither be returned nor adjusted in any condition.
In case of change of address intimation may be sent immediately to the Commission. In order to make any correspondence with the Commission, it is essential to mention the name of the post applied for, advertisement number, Dept. No., Date of Birth, and Registration number.
Knowledge of Hindi is essential.
For medical practitioners, Private practice is not allowed as selected incumbent can be transferred in any of the Medical Colleges of U.P. in public interest and an allowance will be given in lieu thereof.
