Uttar Pradesh PSC Main Examination 2018 Essay and Hindi papers have been cancelled by the Commission after wrong question papers were distributed in one of the exam hall.
As per reports, the Commission has cancelled the Essay and Hindi papers after mix up happened at Government Intermediate College. The General Hindi paper was scheduled to be conducted in the morning session and the essay paper was scheduled in the evening session. But the officials of the college wrongly handed the examinees the Essay papers in the morning session in place of the Hindi papers.
In spite of examinees protests and demands, the invigilating authorities forced them to write the Essay examination. This made the students boycott the examination. After the whole scenario came into limelight of the Commission, the Secretary of UPPSC Jagdish called for cancellation of the examinations.
As for now, both the exams are cancelled. The appearing candidates will be informed about the exams in due course of time through proper channel.
