UPSC Combined Medical Service Examination (CMSE) Admit Card 2016: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Admit Card for the Computer based CMSE 2016. The examination is scheduled to be held on 12 June 2016. Admit card can be downloaded at upsc.gov.in.
The Commission had invited application for the Combined Medical Service Examination in the month of March. The examination will be held for recruiting candidates to 1009 vacant posts. Candidates, who have applied for the examination and are preparing to appear for it on 12 June 2016, can go through the relevant instructions given below:
a) Written part of the Computer based CMSE 2016 will comprise of two Papers; each carrying a total of 250 marks.
b) Each Paper will be of two hours duration.
c) Both the question papers I and II will contains 120 questions each, in English only.
d) Both the papers will be completely of objective (Multiple choice answers) type; there will be four alternatives to each question.
e) For each wrong answer given by the candidate, one third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
f) Password will be announced at 9.50AM for Forenoon Session and at 2.50 PM for Afternoon Session. Candidates will open the secure browser and read instructions from 9.50 AM to 10.00 AM for Forenoon Session and from 2.50 PM to 3.00 PM for Afternoon Session. However, candidates will not be allowed to start their Examination before 10.00 AM for Forenoon Session and 03.00 PM for Afternoon Session.
g) Rough worksheets will be provided to the candidates on demand.
