UPSC Combined Medical Services Exam 2018: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of the Combined Medical Services Examination 2018. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can check their result on the official website upsc.gov.in. The mark sheet is expected to be available on the website www.upsc.gov.in within fifteen days from the date of publication of result.
It is to be noted that UPSC has released notification for various medical posts including Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, and in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services with Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services department.
Total 454 Posts were notified by UPSC for UPSC Combined Medical Services Exam 2018. For the Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, total 300 Posts were notified whereas 138 Posts were in Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services. Number of posts was 16 in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services.
According to the short notification released by UPSC, the merit list is based on the result of the Computer Based Examination (Part – I) of the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2018 held on 22nd July, 2018 followed by Personality Test (Part – II) held from November, 2018 to January, 2019.
Total 440 candidates have been selected finally by UPSC. Out of 440 candidates, General-218, Other Backward Classes (OBC)-207, Scheduled Castes (SC)-10 and Scheduled Tribes (ST)-05 candidates are placed in the merit list.
