An important update has been released by UPSC regarding Engineering Service (Preliminary) Exam 2017. Candidates who have applied for the examination must go through the official notification thoroughly. Details are available at upsc.gov.in.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for the candidates of Kolkata Centre with roll numbers between 0096334 to 0118978. These candidates who were allotted to the venue ‘MODEMLAND GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL (HS) 89A, SANTOSHPUR AVENUE, JADABPUR, KOLKATA- 700075’ have been made aware of a slight change in the address of the venue.
The new venue address may be read as ‘MODERN LAND GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL 89A, SANTOSHPUR AVENUE, JADABPUR (Opp. To UBI SANTOSHPUR BRANCH), KOLKATA- 700075’.
The new admit card for these candidates has been uploaded on the Commission’s website. Candidates are required to download the same and take the fresh admit card to the examination centre.

About UPSC Engineering Service Exam 2017: UPSC will conduct the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Exam 2017 on 08 January 2017. The examination is conducted by the Commission every year to recruit candidates to the Services/ Posts under various disciplines of engineering namely: civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. This year the Commission has announced of near about 440 vacancies. UPSC Engineering Service preliminary exam will be held across the nation in 42 centers.
