UPSC issued admit card for IAS (Main) Exam 2016

Admit cards have been issued for Civil service main exam 2016. Candidates who have qualified the preliminary examination can download the admit card at upsc.gov.in.

Admit cards have been issued for Civil service main exam 2016. Candidates who have qualified the preliminary examination can download the admit card at upsc.gov.in.

Union Public Service Commission will conduct IAS Main exam from 03 December. The examination will be held in two sessions (09.30 am-12 noon & 02.00 pm-05.00 pm) till 09 December.

Only those candidates who have submitted the completed DAF can be able to download the admit cards for the IAS Main exam.

Before downloading the admit card, candidates must ensure that Javascript must be enabled on the browser (latest versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox Browsers). Candidates are suggested not to use mobile or other gadgets for downloading e-Admit card.

How to download IAS Main Exam admit card?

Visit the official portal of the Commission at upsc.gov.in

Enter all the details like Name, Roll Number, Registration ID and Name & Year of the Examination

Submit the details

Take a printout of the e-Admit card

Important Instruction: Candidates must bring the print copy of the admit card to the exam hall along with other proofs if mentioned in it. Candidates who do not have clear photographs on the e-admit card will have to bring a photo identity proof viz. Adhar Card, Driving Licence, Passport, Voter I Card etc. and two passport size photographs one for each session for appearing in the examination with an undertaking.

About UPSC IAS Main Exam: UPSC IAS Main exam will be held as a part of the recruitment process for selecting top bureaucrats of the country. The exam will held from 03 December till 09 December. The first paper on 03 December will be Essay (forenoon session). The second session on the same day won’t be having any paper.

General Studies 1 & 2 will be held on 05 December and GS 3 & 4 will be held on the next day. The last day will be for Optional Papers (1 &2). Examination for Language papers will be held on 07 December. Indian Language (Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo/ Dogri/ Gujarati/ Hindi/ Kannada/ Kashmiri/ Konkani/ Maithili/ Malayalam/ Manipuri/ Marathi/ Nepali/ Oriya/Punjabi/Sanskrit/ Santhali/Sindhi (Devanagari/Arabic Script)/Tamil/Telugu/Urdu) will be held on forenoon session.
