UPSC Civil Services/ IAS Main Exam 2016 Time Table released at upsc.gov.in

UPSC has released exam schedule for Civil Services / IAS Main Exam 2016. The exam will commence from 03 December.

The exam will continue till 09 December and will be held in two sessions. While session 1/ forenoon session will be held from 09.30 am till 12 noon, the session 2/ afternoon session will be held from 02.00 pm till 05.00 pm.

The first paper on 03 December will be Essay (forenoon session). The second session on the same day won’t be having any paper.

General Studies 1 & 2 will be held on 05 December and GS 3 & 4 will be held on the next day.

Examination for Language papers will be held on 07 December. Indian Language (Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo/ Dogri/ Gujarati/ Hindi/ Kannada/ Kashmiri/ Konkani/ Maithili/ Malayalam/ Manipuri/ Marathi/ Nepali/ Oriya/Punjabi/Sanskrit/ Santhali/Sindhi (Devanagari/Arabic Script)/Tamil/Telugu/Urdu) will be held on forenoon session.

The last day will be for Optional Papers (1 &2).
