UPTET 2017 Exam Registration Schedule Released, Online Application to Start from 25 August

UPTET 2017 Exam registration schedule has been released by the UP Basic Education Board, the registration will commence from 25 August 2017. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 15 October 2017.  The schedule of examination process will be as below

Important dates under declared program:

• Online registration starting date- 25 August 2017
• Payment of Application fees by E-challan will start on 26 August 2017
• Last date for online registration - 8 September 2017 (6 PM)
• Last date for submission of application fee -11 September 2017
• The last date for final submission of online application is 13 September at 6 pm.
• The last date for modification of online application is 19 September at 6 pm.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit in the examination, however, keeping in mind the concerns of Sikshs Mitra, board has decided to grant extra weightage to the Sikshs Mitra candidates based on their Teaching experience. Siksamitra will be granted 2.5 points for each year of teaching experience. 

Merit list will be created as shown below:

• Teaching Experience: 2.5 points per teaching year (no more than 25 marks will not be applicable)
• BTC (Practical): 12,06, 03 (for First, Second and Third Division respectively)
• BTC (Theoretical): 12,06, 03 (for First, Second and Third Division respectively)
• Graduation: 40%
• Intermediate: 20%
• Highschool: 10%
