Voter Identity Cards for DU Students

    The Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) is on the move to enroll DU Students in the voters’ list for the upcoming election. It has started a special campaign for the same on 23 October 2013. To meet its purpose, the DUSU has set up camps at the Vishwavidyalaya metro station and the Arts Faculty of DU. Students can apply for enrolment till 25 October 2013.

    As a part of this campaign, the students are also being encouraged by DUSU to get themselves registered for distribution of pamphlets in various colleges and hostels of the North Campus.

    The DUSU president Aman Awana revealed that there was a considerable response on the first day as more than 200 students applied for voter identity card on Wednesday. He further stated that their effort is to get registered as many students as possible, and to ensure that they could be able to exercise their franchise in the coming elections.
