SSC CHSL 2016 is going to be notified on 02 July by the Commission. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will announce for the much awaited SSC CHSL 2016. Application process will commence at ssc.nic.in. However, delays are expected; therefore candidates are suggested to check our page for timely updates.
Staff Selection Commission conducts examinations and/or interviews, whenever required for recruitment to the posts within its purview. Every year the Commission conducts examinations at higher secondary and graduate level for recruitment to all Group “B” posts in the various Ministries/Departments of the Govt. of India and their Attached and Subordinate Offices which are in the pay scales the maximum of which is Rs.10,500 or below and all non-technical Group “C” posts in the various Ministries/Departments of the Govt. of India and their Attached and Subordinate Offices, except those posts which are specifically exempt from the purview of the Staff Selection Commission.
The Commission will initiate the application process in two phases of registration. Like previous year applications are invited for recruitment to Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators, Lower Divisional Clerks, etc. Job profile of the posts in SSC CHSL can be read here
The selection procedure is through written examination, skill test and typing test. The SSC CHSL Examination 2015 consisted of 200 questions in four parts totaling to 200 marks. Each of the paper carried equal number of questions (50). The examination contained four papers namely, General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. The questions asked were multiple choice objective ones with negative marks associated with each of the questions.
