    CSIR- Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology announced recruitment to the posts of Research Associate for a DBT and CSIR sponsored Project Entitled “Selection of Widespread genotypes of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria for Improving Growth and Productivity of Saffron” and Bioprospecting Microbial Endophytes and their Natural Products from Some Medicinal Plants from Indian Trans-Himalayas” through walk –in interview.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Qualification: Aspirants must have PhD in Microbiology/Microbial Technology/ Plant Pathology

    Age Limit (as on 18 February 2013): Maximum 28 years which is relaxable as per government of India rules

    Selection Process

    Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the walk-in interview conducted by the institute on the specified date and time at the prescribed venue.

    How to Apply

    Aspirants are required to walk-in with application form in the specified format available on the CSIR-IHBT website along with prescribed documents like attested copies of certificates like age, education, category and experience.

    In addition to this, applicants should carry original certificates/ testimonials for verification on the day of interview to CSIR-IHBT, Palampur (Himachal Pradesh).
