NOTE: Age will be reckoned as on 1 January 2013. The Upper Age Limit is relax-able for SC / ST / OBC / OBC-A / OBC-B candidates by 5 years.
BCK* -- Basic Computer Knowledge; KCAT** -- Knowledge in Computerized Accounting / Tally; DCA*** -- Diploma in Computer Applications;
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written tests followed by Interview for those qualifying the written tests.
Written Tests:
Paper-I (Common Paper) will be Common for all the posts.
Paper-II (Special Paper) will be Objective Type Written Test.
For Post Codes 031306, 031308 & 031310, Paper-II will have questions on General Banking Awareness;
For Post Codes 031301,031304,031307,031309 and 031311, Paper-II will have questions on Fundamentals of Accountancy
Syllabus for Paper-I has been notified through Notification No. CSC/OG-4/111 dated 24/02/2012 and for the Special Papers vide Notification No. CSC/S-5/199 dated 30/03/2012. The syllabus has also been uploaded in the Website of the Co-operation Department, Government of West Bengal www.coopwb.org and in the Commission’s new website www.webcsc.org.
The Objective Type Written Test for short-listed candidates is scheduled in the month of November 2013 (tentatively). Names of short-listed candidates will be uploaded on the two websites www.coopwb.org and www.coopwb.org. The candidates can download & print their Admit Cards-cum-Attendance Sheets from either of the website.
All tests / Interviews will be held in Kolkata only.
Application Fees: Non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 160 have to be paid either using a Bank Challan -- to be downloaded from www.coopwb.org or www.webcsc.org -- OR through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). The fees has to be deposited in favour of West Bengal Co-Operative Service Commission and credited in CD A/c No.29312051276 with Kolkata Main Branch of The West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Ltd.,
Candidates using Bank challan will have to pay Rs.10 as Service Charge to the Bank. The fees can be deposited
from any Branch of The West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Ltd..
For candidates paying fees through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) from any NEFT-enabled Branch of the said State Co-operative Bank, Central Co-operative Banks or any other Bank of the country, the IFS Code for The West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Ltd. is: IFS Code WBSC0000001.
SC / ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications in the prescribed format, along with self-attested photocopies of required documents / certificates, and Commission’s Copy of Bank Challan / print-out of the NEFT Challan (containing UTR & other details) as proof of payment of Application Fees, by Post / Speed Post / Registered Post / Courier Service to ‘The West Bengal Co-Operative Service Commission PWD Buildings, Block–‘A’ [Ground Floor], Khadya Bhawan Complex, 11A, Mirza Ghalib Street, Kolkata-700087’ so as to reach the said office by 27 September 2013 (1700 hours) or drop it in the earmarked Drop Box of the Commission placed at the Commission’s Office by 1700 hours on 27 September 2013.

A candidate should not submit application for more than one Post Code against the Advertisement.
Candidates except those applying for Post Code 021313 must have passed Madhyamik / Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination with BENGALI as 1st / 2nd Language.
Candidates should retain CSC, WB Copy of the Bank Challan / NEFT Challan (UTR details), duly receipted and stamped by the Bank Branch, for future reference
