West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC), Kolkata invited applications for recruitment to 414 posts under Special Recruitment Drive for SCs and STs, with various Directorate, Regional and District Offices of Government of West Bengal. Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates shall be done on the basis of their performance in the Competitive Exam to be conducted by the WBSSC or WBPSC (Clerkship exam only), as the case may be.
Processing fee: Processing Fee of Rs.20 can be paid online through payment gateway using Debit Cards/ Credits Cards/ Net banking of any bank OR deposited in any of the post offices having e-payment facility.
How to Apply: Applications must be submitted either online through Commission’s website www.wbssc.gov.in or through Tathya Mitra Kendras or offline -- sent by post to “The Secretary-Cum- Controller of Examinations, West Bengal Staff Selection Commission, Mayukh Bhaban, Salt Lake, Kolkata - 700091” -- so as to reach the WBSSC Office, Kolkata till 7 November 2014 (1600 hours).
The offline application must be submitted along with original e-payment receipt and a recent passport size photograph.
On successful submission of the application an auto generated receipt with Registration Number will be generated. Candidates are advised to print it and retain it along with a copy of the e–payment receipt for future reference.
On the envelope, candidates should super-scribe Name of the Recruitment and Name of the Post (S) applied for.
