Xavier Institute of Social Services (XISS) Ranchi PGDM admission notification 2013-15

The Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) was established as an extension department of St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, in 1955 with the objective of training young men and women in Rural Development, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. XISS has announced admission for its various PGDM courses.

Name of Programme

Two-year Full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The specializations offered:

1. PGDM-Human Resource Management
2. PGDM-Rural Management
3. PGDM-Information Technology
4. PGDM-Finance
5. PGDM-Marketing

Important Date

The registrations will remain open from 03 September 2012 to 02 February 2013

Eligibility 

• Minimum qualification for admission to the two years full-time PGDM course at the Institute is three / four years bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities. 
• Candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their graduate degree examination in academic year 2012-13 are also eligible to appear for the admission process. Such candidates, if called for interview, should submit the copy of admit card or a letter from the principal of the college where they are studying to that effect. Such candidates if finally selected at XISS, Ranchi must clear their Graduation examination with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) by August 2013.

Application Fee

• One specialization- Rs. 1000/-
• Two specializations- Rs. 1600/-
• Three specializations- Rs. 2000/-

How to Apply

• Candidates have to apply online for getting admission in XISS.
• The Registration Fee can be paid through online transactions using Credit / Debit / ATM cards / Online Banking. The fee can also be paid by Bank Draft drawn in favor of ‘Xavier Institute of Social Service', payable at Ranchi or by cash at the institute’s fee counter.
