XLRI to organise Verghese Kurien Memorial Oration on Sustainable Development

    Xavier School of Management (XLRI) will soon organise 3rd Dr Verghese Kurien Memorial Oration on Sustainable Development in memory of Dr. Verghese Kurien (founder of Amul and prominently known as Father of the White Revolution in India).

    The oration is planned for the upcoming September 24, at XLRI Jamshedpur campus. Oration will be delivered by Ela Bhatt, eminent social activist and Founder of SEWA (Self Employed Women’s Association)”. She is also a part of the international labour, cooperative, women, and micro-finance movements. She founded the Self-Employed Women's Association of India (SEWA) in 1972.

    About XLRI, Jamshedpur

    XLRI was founded in 1949 by Fr. Quinn Enright, S.J. in the Steel City of Jamshedpur. The institute grants admission to the MBA aspirants by conducting XAT exam annually. In 2007, the institute also commenced one year Postgraduate Program (PGP) in Management and Insurance.
