The Government of Japan in the last week of February 2013, nominated Haruhiko Kuroda for the designation of next governor of the Central Bank of the country, the Bank of Japan. At present, Haruhiko Kuroda is the head of Asian Development Bank.
As customarily, after nomination of a person for the post of governor of the Central Bank of the country, both the houses of the Parliament of Japan will be required to vote as well as approve this nomination. Apart from Haruhiko Kuroda, Hiroshi Nakaso, official of the Bank of Japan; as well as Kikuo Iwata were also nominated for the designation.
