Guye Adola of Ethiopia won Airtel Half Marathon held in Delhi

Guye Adola of Ethiopia won Airtel Half Marathon (ADHM) in men’s category within 59.06 minutes.

Guye Adola of Ethiopia won Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) in men’s category on 23 November 2014. Adola finished the race in 59.06 minutes and broke the 2013 record of 59.12 minutes set by Atsedu Tsegay of Kenya.  He received prize money of 27000 US dollars plus the additional course record bonus of 7500 US dollars.

World Half Marathon champion Geoffrey Kamworor finished the event at second place with a timing of 59.07 minutes and Mosinet Geremew of Ethiopia was third after clocking 59:11 minutes.

Florence Kiplagat of Kenya finished on top in the women's category of the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon in 1 hour 10 minutes. Gladys Cherono finished at the second place with 1 hour 10 minutes and Worknesh Degefa of Ethiopia finished third.

Preeja Sreedharan (1:19.03); Monika Athare (1:19.12); Sudha Singh (1:19.21)
