Haryana bagged Skoch Order-of-Merit National award for implementing e-governance initiatives

Haryana on 3 September 2015 bagged the Skoch Order-of-Merit national award for implementation of six e-Governance and IT initiatives in the state.

The award will be presented to the state government during the 41st Skoch Summit - Transformative Governance, scheduled to be held on 22-23 September 2015 in New Delhi.

The information in regard to the award was provided by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in the state assembly on the second day of the monsoon session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha.

Besides, the Chief Minister also informed that with a view to providing time-bound and hassle-free services, the state government had notified 163 services which would be delivered to the citizens at their doorsteps.
