India Won Asian Junior Squash Championship for the First Time

India won boys' title in the final of the Asian junior squash championship for the first time in January 2011.

India made history at the Ratmalana courts in Colombo on 29 January 2011by clinching the boys' title in the final of the Asian junior squash championship for the first time by beating defending champion Pakistan 2-1. The Indian team comprised Ramit Tandon, Abhishek Pradhan and Mahesh Mangaonkar. Indian skipper Ramit was judged the hero of the day.


Hong Kong Defeated Malaysia 2-0 in the women’s category of the Asian junior squash championship.
