At the DefExpo 2010 on 15 Feb 2010 Mahindra & Mahindra – BAE Systems defence joint venture, Defense Land Systems India (DLSI), unveiled a mine protected vehicle India (MPVI) and a new artillery gun, the FH77 B05 Advanced Howitzer. The MPVI developed for the Indian armed and paramilitary forces, has a seating capacity of 18 and can be used in rough terrains due to the high torque and power-to-weight ratio. The new artillery gun FH77 B05, is an upgraded version of the FH77 B02 which is currently used by the Indian Army.
DefExpo 2010 was organized from 15 Feb to 18 Feb 2010 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
