Narinder Batra on 4 November 2014 was awarded the prestigious President's Award by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) at Morocco.

The Hockey India chief Narinder Batra on 4 November 2014 was awarded the prestigious President's Award by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) at Morocco.

The President's Awards were presented to Narinder Batra and Italian Valentina Quaranta for their lengthy and valuable services to the sports.

Narinder Batra was recently included in the FIH Executive Board at 2014 Ordinary Congress of FIH.



About President’s Award of International Hockey Federation (FIH)

  • The President’s Award of International Hockey Federation is awarded to individuals who are not the members of the FIH for long and valuable services to hockey whether direct or indirect.
  • The award also recognizes the services that have had certain beneficial effect for hockey at international level.
