NTPC Subsidiary entered into Agreement with KSEB

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, on 19 July 2013 entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) for supply of 300 MW Round the Clock (RTC) power for a period of three years starting from 1 March 2014. The PPA was signed by N.K.Sharma, CEO, NVVN and D. Dinesh, CE, Commercial, KSEB in the presence of Shri Aryadan Muhammed, Minister for Power and Transport, Govt. of Kerala in Thiruvanthapuram.

The PPA envisages supply of over seven billion unit power sourced by NVVN from Chhattisgarh during this contract period. The Contract was bagged by NVVN, through a competitive bidding process conducted by KSEB.
