SEBI inaugurated its local office at Ranchi, Jharkhand

R.S. Sharma, Chief Secretary of Jharkhand Government inaugurated local office of SEBI at Ranchi, Jharkhand.

SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) on 19 March 2014 inaugurated its local office at Ranchi, Jharkhand. The office was inaugurated by R.S. Sharma, Chief Secretary of Jharkhand Government in presence of UK Sinha, the Chairman of SEBI.

The local offices of SEBI would involve in spreading financial literacy and redressing of the grievance of the investors in the region.

Till date SEBI has 14 Zonal offices apart from its head office in Mumbai and four regional offices. List of the zonal offices are

Local offices in North Zone with New Delhi as its Regional office Local offices in South Zone with Chennai as its Regional office Local offices in East Zone with Kolkata
as its Regional office
Local offices in West Zone with Ahmedabad as its Regional office
