The Parliament of India comprises of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and President. There can be maximum 552 members (530 states + 20 Union Territories + 2 Anglo Indians) for the Lok Sabha in the country, but only 543 members are elected for Lok Sabha from different states and if no member of Anglo Indian community is elected among 543 then the President of India can elect 2 members of this community.
Who are Anglo Indians?
As per Article 366 (2) of the Constitution, Anglo-Indian is considered to be someone who lives in India and whose father or any of the male ancestors belong to the European lineage. This term is mainly used for British people who are working in India and belong to Indian origin community.
The Anglo-Indian term was defined in the Government of India Act, 1935. According to this, "a person whose father or any of his male progenitors in the male line is or is of European descent but who is a native of India."
Which Countries use Electronic Voting Machines?
Reservation of Seats in the Lok Sabha and other Legislative Assemblies;
Anglo-Indian is the only community that has its own representatives nominated to the Lok Sabha. This right was secured by the Frank Anthony from the Jawaharlal Nehru. The community is represented by two members because the community has no native state of its own.
States like Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana,Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Kerala also have a nominated member each in their respective State Legislatures.
As per rules the reservation of this community is fixed upto 2020 and it will be renewed after 2020.

Currently, there are two Anglo-Indian MPs from the Bharatiya Janata Party in Lok Sabha. These are Richard Hay from Kerala and George Baker from West Bengal. Frank Anthony had been nominated for the 7 time for the Lok Sabha.
